This article From businessweek describes in detail what has been a pet hate of mine since I joined Twitter. Twitter is a great platform, because I can have followers that I am not friends with yet, but in time it might happen. I want to interact with real people and Twitter is a great way to do that.

as an after thought, I do think that Twitter does attempt to delete these people as follow counts do inexplicably change, I have seen 14 drop from my account, but others at the time lost hundreds and I don't think thats a coincidence still more can be done, these are people as they confirm them selves to get on to follow me, I don't want bots. a story for another day, ask Poundcore about it
